Using Bordetella pertussis specific highly purified pertussis toxin (PT) as an antigen our ELISA allow sensitive and highly specific antibody detection in line with the recommendations of the German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology (MiQ 13b).
Our assays are calibrated against WHO First International Standard and provide results in IU/ml by single-point quantification.
The assays do not crossreact with other Bordetella species, with Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Chlamydia pneumoniae.
