Nkx3.1 – a very specific prostate-marker

medac is pleased to present to you Nkx3.1 (clone EP356) and P501s (Prostein), two very sensitive and specific markers for prostate origin in carcinomas. Nkx3.1 is characterized by a high specificity and sensitivity for metastatic prostate adenocarcinomas and can be utilized to help distinguish between prostate carcinoma and urothelial carcinomas. In addition, Nkx3.1 exhibits a higher sensitivity for poorly differentiated prostate carcinomas compared to established markers, such as PSA or PSAP. For further information, please follow the link.
